Tradespeople using ToolTime

We’re on a mission to change how tradespeople work.

What we do

We're building the AI-powered operating system for the trades. It takes on the paperwork and the chaotic admin, from quoting and scheduling to invoicing and compliance.

Why it matters

Tradespeople keep our homes and cities running, yet they lose hours every week to admin. Giving that time back means more time on the tools and with their families.

Where we're going

We're turning ToolTime into the place where every trade business runs its day, so the people who build our world can focus on what they're great at.

Jelena, Software Engineering Lead at ToolTime
Learning that a feature I contributed to was genuinely meaningful for a tradesperson made me proud. Now when I build, I think of those people and remember why we do this.

Our hiring process

We hire for mindset and values, not just skills. Every role requires a slightly different approach but generally the process is as follows.

1. Introduction call

We get to know you, hear what draws you to ToolTime, and share what the role is really like.

2. Hiring manager call

Meet your future lead and dig into your experience, skills and the challenges ahead.

3. On-site day

See where the magic happens: meet the team at our office and, if it fits the role, show us your skills in a case study.

4. Decision time

The whole team weighs in. We decide together, on skills and on culture fit.

Every application is read by real people who care. Feel free to use AI to prepare, we do too! In the interview itself, though, we want to hear your thoughts, not your AI's.

What makes working at ToolTime special for you?

The people. I work with a team that is very good at what it does and still asks "but why?" in every meeting. It's a curious, warm place, and that makes disagreements useful instead of painful. And then there are our customers. They tell us what works and what doesn't, often in the same message, and that keeps us honest. I love them.
